Thursday Thirteen
Things I have helped remove or seen removed from the human body (Some I'll tell you from where, others you will have to guess)....
1. 3 golf balls
2. Gatorade bottle
3. A can of shaving cream
4. Electric toothbrush (still running)
5. Cockroaches (always in ears)
6. An apple and a jar of grape jelly (Smuckers seriously needs to talk to someone about their product placement)
7. Glass Coke Bottle
8. Untold numbers of adult toys
9. A glue stick
10. A Rock (shoved up a 2 year-old's nose)
11. Car Keys (If your boyfriend is trying to leave, your vagina is the last place he will look for his keys. Just make sure you can reach them)
12. A flashlight still on. (The look on the doctor's face when we got the patient up in stirrups was priceless.)
13. A fork, tines down. (Apparently, you should never piss off a bunch of frat boys then pass out at their house.)
These have all occured in the last 3 and a half years since I started in the ER.

Accumulated Junk
And now for the downside. We own too much stuff. I bought a Suburban this week so that we will have enough room for all our things. In two hours last night I gathered up 2 large garbage bags of clothes to take to Goodwill. I haven't touched Mr. Morgan's stuff yet. He would be perfectly content to get rid of everything and buy new.
We have a little over 3 weeks to put everything in storage and get to Texas for the first assignment. He hasn't balked at all when I told him our summer assignments have to be where ever the RWA convention is. Dallas area this summer, San Franciso next year. The hardest thing is putting all of my precious books in a box and maybe not seeing them again for 2 years. Going to be buying more ebooks for their portability. And the fact he won't know how many I own. Sneaky, I know.
But I have been going through things wondering why we have kept them this long. I have a 13 year old suede skirt. It still fits. I have maybe worn it 20 times. Why do I still own this? The list goes on and on...
